The campus infrastructure comprises many components, including the sewer systems.
Two such components are the sanitary sewer system and the storm sewer system. The sanitary sewer system is distinct from the storm sewer system; the sanitary sewer system includes the plumbing found in buildings attached to sources of tap water, while the storm sewer system is the network of drains outside that collect storm water and carry it away from buildings to streams, rivers, ponds and lakes.
