The following materials cannot be shipped without consulting EHS:
- Dry Ice
- Infectious and Biological Substances
- Genetically Modified Organisms or Microorganisms
- Hazardous Chemicals
- Radioactive Materials
- Compressed Gas Cylinders (full or empty)
- Items Containing Lithium Batteries
If you would like to ship any of these items, please allow a minimum of two-week notice and contact EH&S (ehs@ucmerced.edu).
