The fire safety program's main focus is to prevent and reduce the loss of life and property resulting from fire-related incidents. We strive to provide our campus community with the tools and knowledge required to maintain a fire-safe environment.
Fire safety should be everyone's concern, and each employee and student at the university should be aware of the unique fire hazards of a teaching and research university. We can all assist in creating a safe environment by familiarizing ourselves with common fire hazards and prevention practices.
Our fire safety program includes training coordinated through the UC Learning Center.
