EH&S provides one Biological Spill Kit per bio lab group. PIs are responsible for replacing all consumed or expired items after use/expiration. DO NOT WAIT! BE PREPARED!
Each Biological Spill Kit contains:
-1 Sterilite 20 Qt. Storage Box Labeled "Biological Spill Kit" with Biohazard Symbol (can serve as collection and transport vessel)
-1 Mini Dustpan Set to collect small/fine sharps
-1 Face Shield
-2 Red ASTM-marked Biohazard Autoclave Bags
-1 Pack (90 Count) Premium Slimfold Towels
-1 Jumbo Tweezers to collect sharps
-1 Bottle PREempt RTU Disinfectant Cleaner or equivalent disinfectant
-2 Pairs KC500 Purple Nitrile Powder-Free Exam Gloves (Medium or your size when replacing)
-1 Caution Sign
-1 Procedure Poster
