EH&S provides one Biological Spill Kit per bio lab group. PIs are responsible for replacing all consumed or expired items after use/expiration. DO NOT WAIT! BE PREPARED!
 
Each Biological Spill Kit contains:
  • 1 Sterilite 20 Qt. Storage Box Labeled "Biological Spill Kit" with Biohazard Symbol (can serve as collection and transport vessel)
  • 1 Mini Dustpan Set to collect small/fine sharps
  • 1 Face Shield
  • 2 Red ASTM-marked Biohazard Autoclave Bags 
  • 1 Pack (90 Count) Premium Slimfold Towels
  • 1 Jumbo Tweezers to collect sharps
  • 1 Bottle PREempt RTU Disinfectant Cleaner or equivalent disinfectant 
  • 2 Pairs KC500 Purple Nitrile Powder-Free Exam Gloves (Medium or your size when replacing)
  • 1 Caution Sign
  • 1 Procedure Poster
  • 1 Inventory List
